Private Intelligence Systems LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the HomeAtlas mobile application and related services. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information we collect

When you use HomeAtlas, we collect:

• Account information (email address) when you create an account
• Equipment data you enter (manufacturer, model number, photos, notes)
• Documents you upload (manuals, receipts)
• Questions you ask through the Q&A feature
• Usage data (feature usage, session duration) to improve the product

Information we do not collect

• GPS coordinates or precise location
• Street address or home address
• Income or financial information
• Occupancy patterns
• Cross-app identifiers or advertising IDs
• Children's data (our services are not directed to children under 13)

How we use your information

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the HomeAtlas service. We use your equipment data and uploaded manuals to answer your questions with citations from actual documentation. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). Serial numbers are encrypted at rest. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. We implement row-level security so you can only access your own household's data.

Data export and deletion

You can export all of your data at any time from the app settings. You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app. Deletion is permanent after a 30-day grace period.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate HomeAtlas:

• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Anthropic Claude (AI-powered Q&A — your questions are processed but not stored by Anthropic for training)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store (app distribution and payments)

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or by email.
